IT TECH BAR

Technology can seem daunting and those seeking IT Help have yet to find answers to confusing topics. For this reason, it was important to create a welcoming and safe environment for this IT Tech Bar where questions and curiosity are encouraged. Familiarity was established by installing large-scale photo murals of SCE’s Long Beach, CA service territory. The furniture selection and arrangement outline a flow in the room that encourages exploration before approaching a technicians’ desk. The plush furnishings and smooth-touch surfaces create a comfortable area where visitors are invited to lounge and charge their devices. Flexible workbenches serve as zones for consultations, to host live workshop tutorials on larger screens, and to also test out new ergo equipment available for order. Branding was incorporated throughout the space, including a vibrant orange graphical sun rising and setting at opposite ends. The logo and its new branding elements were incorporated on the interactive touch screens to continue a cohesive, friendly experience.
